Proud to support our community in Bristol & Somerset
At Ballantine Wealth Management, we believe that strong communities are built by people coming together.
That's why we're proud to support the local clubs, teams, charities and events that make a difference to the communities where we live and work.
From grassroots sport to fundraising for important causes, we believe in playing an active role and giving something back across the areas in which we operate. From Clevedon to Bridgwater, Crewkerne to Taunton, we believe in supporting the communities around us.
Supporting the people and places around us
Our communities are filled with people and organisations doing incredible things. From volunteers giving up their time to coaches inspiring the next generation, and charities providing vital support to those who need it most.
We're proud to support initiatives that bring people together, create opportunities and make a positive difference.
Whether we're sponsoring a local team, getting involved in a community event or fundraising for a worthwhile cause, we love being able to play a small part in supporting the people and places around us.
Backing local sport
We believe sport has a special way of bringing communities together.
Local clubs provide so much more than the opportunity to play. They create friendships, provide a place to socialise, promote healthy lifestyles and give people of all ages a place to belong.
That's why we're proud to support a range of local clubs and teams, including:
Clevedon Cricket U15s
Supporting the next generation is something we're passionate about. Alongside supporting the senior section, we're delighted to support the U15s as they continue their journey into men's cricket.
Queens Netball Club
We're proud to support Queens Netball Club in Bridgwater. The club has a range of teams across numerous divisions in Somerset.
Staplegrove FC U10s
We also support Staplegrove Juniors, whom we fund the kit for. Above is a picture following a recent 5-2 win over Wellington.
Crewkerne Rugby Club
Crewkerne Rugby Club is an important part of its local sporting community, bringing players and supporters together through a shared love of rugby. Ballantine Wealth Management is proud to sponsor the club's 1st XV shirts and support the team where possible.
Mark Bowls Club
We're delighted to support Mark Moor Bowling Club. From club competitions to social matches, the club provides opportunities for members to enjoy the sport, connect with others and be part of their community.
Enmore Golf Club
Golf is a sport that brings people together, and Enmore Park Golf Club has a special connection with the Ballantine family. With a long-standing family membership, we're proud to support the club by sponsoring its fixture board and helping contribute to the local golfing community.
Clevedon Cricket Club
Based at Dial Hill, Clevedon Cricket Club has been part of the local community for generations, providing opportunities for cricketers of all ages to enjoy and develop their game. Ballantine Wealth Management is proud to support the club as a front-of-shirt sponsor, helping back its players both on and off the pitch.
Going the extra mile for good causes
Our team also enjoys getting involved and helping to raise money for causes that matter.
At the Taunton Half Marathon in 2026, members of the Ballantine Wealth Management team joined runners, volunteers and supporters for a fantastic event. Together with generous donations and support from clients, friends and family, we raised £1,817 for Children's Hospice South West.
We're also proud to have supported the JHF Youth Charity, with a £500 donation helping its work to support young people across North Somerset.
Coming together as a community in Somerset
We were delighted to support Sedgemoor FM's Tonne of Tins Appeal for Bridgwater Foodbank, joining other local businesses and members of the community in collecting donations.
Initiatives like this are a great reminder of what can happen when local people and businesses come together for a common cause. We're proud to be part of communities where people are always willing to lend a hand and support one another.
Because we're not just working in the community – we're part of it.
